Call for participation for “International Collaborative education program of Asian Innovation”

Introduction We will hold the following program for undergraduates and graduate students of Keio University. This is part of education to foster human resources on how to create new ideas to solve social problems and to demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit.
Program
  • (1)Lecture by lecturers of Singularity University, USA
    Two invited lecturers from Singularity University in the United States will explain global issues and introduce activities in Asia and Africa.
  • (2) Workshop by lecturers of Singularity University, USA
    A workshop to propose ideas to improve the lives of people in Asia and the world with reference to the contents introduced at the lectures of (1).
  • (3) Overseas training to touch the forefront of innovation by visiting Thailand
    Several students will visit Thailand which is aiming for Thailand 4.0 in order to change itself into a major innovation power, and will participate in lectures to learn how universities, industries and government agencies are working together, and will visit companies in Thailand. The period of the visit to Thailand is from September 1, 2017 to September 5, 2017.
Requirements Students can attend (1) only if they want.
Students who wish to attend (2) must attend (1).
Students who wish to attend (3) must attend (1) and (2).

Eligibility Students of a graduate school or an undergraduate school of Keio University (additional requirement exists by separate program)
Number of students (1) Lecture and (2) Workshop: 70 students (lottery in case when there are more than 70 applications)
(2) Overseas training to visit Thailand: 8 students
