Keio University Graduate School of System Design and Management and Chulalongkorn University Faculty of Engineering Held MoU Signing Event on August 3, 2022

On August 3, 2022, an MoU signing ceremony event was hosted by Chulalongkorn University Faculty of Engineering and Keio University Graduate School of System Design and Management at the Chulalongkorn University Faculty of Engineering Centennial Hall in Bangkok, Thailand.
At the event, Associate Professor Paveena Chaovalitwongse, Head of the Department of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, first gave opening remarks to the guests and attendees.

First, Associate Professor Natt Leelawat, Associate Dean for Communication and International Affairs, Chulalongkorn University, gave a speech titled "Explaining the MoU" and "10 Reasons Why You Should Study at Chulalongkorn University". Next, Professor Shinichiro Haruyama of Keio SDM, gave a speech titled "10 Reasons Why You Should Study at Keio SDM", followed by speeches by Professor Naohiko Kohtake and Specially Appointed Associate Professor Akira Kodaka of Keio SDM, who introduced their joint research project.

Finally, Prof. Supot Teachavorasinskun, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, gave his greetings, and finally, Prof. Hidekazu Nishimura, Dean of the Graduate School of SDM, Keio University, gave closing remarks to the participants via Zoom.

The event was a great success, with congratulatory remarks from Mr. Takehiro Nakamura, Director of Bangkok Office, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), and the participation of about 30 students from Chulalongkorn University.

As mentioned above, the MoU and the exchange program between the Faculty of Engineering at Chulalongkorn University and the Graduate School of System Design and Management at Keio University have now been concluded, making it possible for students from both universities to study abroad and for faculty members from both universities to visit each other in the future.
