* Please note that a preliminary entrance qualification review (refer to "Preliminary Entrance Qualification Review" on page 3 in the Admission Application Guidelines) will be necessary for applicants qualifying for admission under certain criteria.
** All documents must be postmarked by the deadline date.
*** SDM office will notify the schedule of the 2nd screening after the announcement of results of the 1st screening. Applicants cannot choose the date/time of the 2nd screening.
Pre-Contact
Applicants seeking admission to the Master's Program/Doctoral Program must contact the prospective supervising professor(s) whom they wish to have serve as research advisor(s), and discuss their intended research in advance. To contact your desired research advisor(s), enter the necessary information in the "Pre-Contact Application Form". Please note that it is not available to contact them via the pre-contact form from the last day of the web entry/application period until the day of the announcement of results of second screening.
Applicants can select the name of the faculty member they wish to contact in the pre-contact application form, but the message reaches all faculty members. Please keep that point in mind when you contact several faculty members via the form.
