A special lecture by Dr. R. Setchi from Cardiff University, visiting professor from November 22 to December 4, was held on November 24. In her lecture titled "In Search of Design Inspiration: A Semantic-based Retrieval in Support of Concept Design" she introduced tools to support designers' inspiration, such as a system that enables users to choose images that are suited to their intention on the web. The lecture was followed by a lively discussion. Dr. Setchi and SDM faculty members exchanged information regarding education and research and will continue to discuss future collaboration.
