"Roppongi Vege & Fruit Corporation" earned the Award of Excellence at Student Entrepreneur Grand Prix

"Roppongi Vege & Fruit Corporation," a project which began as "Team-A2" of ALPS2009, earned the Award of Excellence at the 8th Student Entrepreneur Grand Prix.  On Sunday, February 7, "Roppongi Vege & Fruit Corporation" gave a final presentation on its idea for reusing empty schools in Tokyo at Tomin Hall in the finals of the "FY2009 Student Entrepreneur Grand Prix" and the team took home the top prize.

The news was covered by the Fuji Television Network "Mezamashi TV" information program on Monday, February 8, including a telephone interview with Mr. Yagita, the project leader.
On Wednesday, March 3, the team also entered the Nationals for the 6th Campus Venture Grand Prix (sponsored by the Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun).
