Overview
The world will need to use technology to launch truly innovative, truly appropriate systems if it is to create societies that are easy on the environment and safe and secure for people. The Graduate School of System Design and Management at Keio University (SDM) seeks to train the "super engineers" who will lead the companies of the future in the development of the next generation of technology and social systems.
This workshop will provide an introduction to the project research conducted by the SDM Research Institute to provide practical training to super engineers so that they are able to work from a deep mastery of their individual areas of expertise, but go beyond peripheral component technologies to develop broader understandings that enable them to look at the big picture. We look forward to discussing with the audience and panelists what the next generation super engineers will require.
