Exchange Programs

Student Exchange Program

Keio SDM has student exchange program agreements with partner graduate schools abroad. SDM students pay tuition fees to Keio University during their visiting period and are exempt from admission fees and tuition fees at the host institutions.

For research-based studies abroad, SDM students cannot take classes during their visit because they will be engaged in research activities and projects (and therefore no credits can be earned). Exchange visits for research-based studies abroad are subject to approval by the host institution.

Credits earned at these partner institutions may be recognized as credits required for completion of the Keio SDM, subject to approval by the SDM Faculty Committee and provided they do not exceed the maximum number of credits specified in the Graduate School Academic Rules and Regulations.

Aoi Global Research Award

Study abroad to University of Cambridge is only available through the "Aoi Global Research Award," which supports exchange programs between Keio University and the University of Cambridge.
