1) Fees excluding Student Health Care Mutual Aid Association Initial Fee can be paid in two installments in the Spring and Fall Semesters (payment amounts given in parentheses).
2) The Fees for the Fall Semester should be paid by the end of October every year. The Fees for Spring Semester will be paid by the end of April every year.
3) If students admitted in April pay the partial fees, the fees for the Fall Semester will be paid by the end of October every year.
4) The Student Health Care Mutual Aid Association Fee includes a Membership Fee and a Registration Fee, which is charged only in the student's first year.
Applicants who have completed studies in one graduate school of Keio University and will proceed to study at another graduate school of Keio University will be exempted from paying the Registration Fee. Applicants who have completed the masterʼs program at Keio University and will enroll in the doctoral program within one year from the date of their completion of the masterʼs program will be exempted from paying the Registration Fee. Applicants who have completed the professional degree program and will enroll in the Graduate School of Media and Governance must pay the Registration Fee.
5) (For students admitted in or after AY 2026) Please note that among the academic fees and expenses, the registration fee is subject to change from year to year based on a sliding scale system as stipulated in the University Rules and Regulations. The rate of increase to be applied shall be based on a sliding scale (Consumer Price Index change from the previous year).
6) The Fees are tentative. If changed, it will be announced on the SDM website.
