Keio invites one student from Malaysia to Keio EDGE 2015 Program

We will visit Malaysia and introduce our “Innovative Thinking Workshop” to students at Malaya University. The purpose of this workshop is to recruit one Malaysian student to attend our Keio EDGE Program 2015 starting from this coming September. For the selected student, travel fee and accommodation during the program (about 4 months) will be covered by Keio.

Thanks to great support from faculty members at Malaya University, we are inviting some 60 graduate level students and researchers to our 2-day workshop from three faculties: Electrical Engineering; Business & Accountancy; and Computer Science and Information Technology.

Students who are interested in joining our KEIO EDGE 2015 program in Japan will apply for registration as KEIO EDGE candidates. Among those candidates, we will select one student from Malaysia to invite our 2015 program. The selection will be done based on the performance at the workshop, application materials and interview.

Meeting with Malaya faculty

In preparation of this coming workshop, we visited Faculty of Engineering at Malaya University on the 25th, March. Six faculty members including Deputy Dean, Associate Professor Dr. Hazlie Mokhlis and Dr. Norrima Mokhtar welcomed us at Engineering Tower. After exchanging introduction of each university, we introduced our Keio EDGE program and the purpose of our visit.

All the faculty members welcomed our idea and accepted to host our innovative thinking workshop for their students.

Here we would like to express our gratitude to all the faculty members at Malaya University.
