The purpose of this course is to introduce sophisticated and proven advanced project management practices and processes that help organizations to achieve a much healthier profit margin and experience repeatable success of managing projects. This course will help students to understand the importance of formalized project portfolio management structure, and a formalized project management philosophy.
※英語科目ですが、英語が苦手な方にも受講していただけるよう、必要に応じて日本語の簡単な補足をします。プロジェクトマネジメントの基礎知識を有しているか経験を持っていれば、コア科目「プロジェクトマネジメント」を修了している必要はありません。(You don\'t have to have completed the SDM core subject "Project Management."　This course is taught in English, but brief interpretation in Japanese may be added during the lectures.)

After completing the course, students will learn about: • Project management processes and guidelines for proper and methodical articulation of enterprise objectives, project planning, and streamlined project management. • Formalized and uniform procedures for monitoring the progress of projects in terms of cost, schedule, scope, and quality. • Effective training and creation of pools of project management professionals, project managers, and teams • Establishment of Project Management Office (PMO) that will develop organization-wide plans for adoption of tools for planning projects, proposals, and portfolios. • Project-friendly organizational culture, structure, and characteristics to enhance project success and performance. • Development of global projects and virtual teams to improve global competitiveness. • Integration of project management and knowledge management for sustained growth. • Sustainable Development using green practices in projects and project management.
